Package deals

Brilliant Sounds offer the best sound equipment that there is to offer for private functions and work with other specialists such as photographer, caterer and decor to offer a full package.

Price for sound system and Mobile DJ alone.

R7500 for a standard wedding (ceremony and reception, playing from 4pm - 12 midnight) or R6000 for reception alone (7pm - 12 midnight).  We are happy to give quotes should times differ.  This price includes the full sound system with lights and all accessories, separate PA system and digital microphones for speeches.

R3000 for community based organisations as part of our social responsibility.  Times are from 7pm - 12 midnight, but once again are happy to quote if times differ.

House parties are charged as per request and may vary depending on requirement and times. 

Corporate functions are charged according to requirement.  Please call to find out more details.

Travel is included up to a radius of 30km from Blouberg, thereafter R2 per km.

Sound Systems

We use state of the art equipment:

Amps: 2 x Labgruppen C68:4.

Speakers: 4 x Community Sonas double 15" bass bins; 2 x Community Entasys column speakers; 2 x Community SLS 920 top speakers.

Other: Behringer digital crossover; Allen & Heath mixer.

Microphones: 2 x AKG cordless digital microphones; Shure microphone (headset, lapel or corded); Shure wired microphones.

PA: 2 x JBL 210 P's; Wharfedale 12" powered speakers. 

Lighting: 5 x lasers; 1 x mirror ball with LED pinspot; Smoke machine; Smoke hazer; LED Parcan; 3 x long throw LED UV light panels (gives an awesome effect with whites, neon / dayglo colours and invisible ink).  Invisible ink is highly entertaining using this light, but is only available as an extra option, at R200 per 50ml.

Mobile drapes:  6m long x 2m high (the mulitple lights behind the DJ in the photograph - DMX controlled) are a R500 optional extra.

Music / Songs

We have a huge selection of music, from the latest popular songs available, updated weekly, to the different era’s, pop, rock, 80's, old school, dubstep and more. We play your requests, as it is your function, and prefer a playlist if one is available.  Our specialty is 80's and rock and we have literally thousands of tracks available.

For speeches the PA system would cost R1000 extra if the speeches and event are separate, but not if at the same place.

Event management and co-ordination, décor and flowers

Staying over

We are prepared to sleep over if an event is going to run late, or is at a campsite. 

Contract and references

We offer a signed contract if that is what you want.

We work on the basis of a 50% deposit to book the date, with the balance to be paid before the event.

Professional reliable service

We are very professional, offer exceptional value for money and are NEVER late.  You may get less expensive, but you won’t get a better package and definitely not better quality sound.
